Eat as nature intended
When you eat pure plant foods with their energy and life-force intact, you are eating as nature intended. That is the whole idea behind Raw Temptation.

Never above 45 °C
Raw foods are packed with enzymes that the body relies on for almost every function. Heating food above about 45 °C destroys those enzymes and changes the molecular structure of the food, leaving many of its nutrients unusable.
So we don't heat. Every praline, brownie and cake is made cold, from whole ingredients, which is why our creations are so nutrient dense and why they taste so vividly of what is in them. Our customers tell us they feel lighter and more energised after a Raw Temptation treat, not heavier.
What goes in
Our main ingredients, and why we chose them.

Raw cacao
Cacao in its purest form: cold-pressed and unroasted. It is one of the richest natural sources of antioxidants and of magnesium, which supports heart and muscle function, and it brings fibre and a gentle natural lift. Raw cacao is also what gives our chocolate its deep, slightly fruity flavour that roasted cocoa loses.

Raw coconut sugar
Our sweetness comes from the sap of coconut palms. Coconut sugar has a glycaemic index of around 35, against about 60 for cane sugar, so it releases its energy more slowly. It carries small amounts of minerals and inulin, a prebiotic fibre, and it has a natural caramel note. We buy from a supplier whose palms are certified organic, and the trees need a fraction of the water and fuel that sugar cane does.

Raw nuts
Cashews, pecans and almonds give our creations their creaminess and crunch. Almonds bring fibre and vitamin E; pecans are rich in antioxidants; cashews provide copper and magnesium. All three carry heart-healthy monounsaturated fats and plant protein, and because we never roast them, they keep everything they grew with.
And what stays out
No refined or processed ingredients. No artificial sweeteners, flavours, preservatives or colourings. No gluten, no dairy, no eggs. If we can't pronounce it, it doesn't go in.
